Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
Minimum Educational Qualification for the post is – Degree in Hospital Management / Hospital Administration from a recognized Medical College / University. Desirable qualification - Candidates having MBBS degree in addition to essential educational qualification shall be given preference.
Duties and Responsibilities 1. Hospital administrators are responsible for the day-to-day operation of hospital, OPD and dispensary. 2. To coordinate the actions of all departments and ensure they function as one. 3. He/she should act as liaisons among Boards, medical staff and other departments. 4. Organize, direct, control and coordinate medical and health services in relation to policies set by the Board and other higher authorities / Government. 5. He/she shall provide assistance to the Administrative body i.e. CEO/Board, Doctors and para-medical staff in day to day functioning of the hospital. 6. Assist in the education of new staff in teaching hospitals Develop procedures for quality assurance, patient services, medical treatments, department activities and public relations. 7. Develop and execute annual plan for the Hospital. 8. Participate in community health planning. 9. Any other task / duties as directed by the CEO / Board.
