WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR ENGAGEMENT OF SENIOR RESIDENT UNDER THREE YEARS SENIOR RESIDENCY SCHEME
A walk in interview will be held for engaging 17 Senior Residents for a period of three years, under the Residency Scheme (Renewable every year) in the Chamber of Medical Superintendent, E.S.I.C. Hospital, K.K. Nagar, Chennai-78, as per the schedule below:

AGE: Not exceeding 35 years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC as per Rules ) as on 06.02.2012. Reservation will be as per Central Government rules. QUALIFICATION: A post graduate degree/diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized University and should have registered with MCI or State Council. For ICU, ICCU& Casualty PG Degree/Diploma holders in General Medicine, Anesthesia, Chest Medicine are eligible to apply
EMOLUMENTS: Pay-Rs. 18,750/-, Grade Pay-Rs.6,600/-, Non Practicing Allowance-Rs. 6,338/- per month plus DA (as revised from time to time) & HRA & TA as applicable under Govt. of India. Total Emoluments including all allowances per month will be approximately Rs. 62,187/- The contract will be for a period of 3 years only, subject to renewable every year. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Selected candidates will have no claim for regularization of the services in the hospital. 2. They will be entitled for EL,HPL, Commuted Leave, Extraordinary leave and encashment of Earned Leave as are applicable for temporary employees under CCS(Leave) Rules-1972. 3. The selected candidates have to deposit security amount of Rs. 4,000/- in favour of ESI Fund A/c No. 1 payable at State Bank of India, Ashok Nagar, Chennai-78, and produce the Demand Draft. 4. Hostel accommodation/quarters will be not be provided. 5. The Senior Resident has to wear his/her own white coat with name badge during the duty hours. 6. The appointment is subject to Medical Fitness and verification of character and antecedents. 7. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed. 8. No TA/DA will be admissible for joining the post. 9. The doctors at any time found guilty of any gross misconduct or negligence of his/her duties shall be terminated without any notice or payment in lieu of notice period. 10.The absence from work for a period of fifteen days without proper permission of the competent authority will amount to voluntary abandonment of engagement and automatic termination. 11.They will also be required to attend emergency and premises duty and other clinical duty as assigned by the Medical Superintendent or his/her representative. 12.Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately and in any case on or before 29.02.2012 or the date indicated in the offer of appointment likely to be issued in respect of the selected candidates. 13.Candidates are requested to bring their Application/ Bio-data and original qualification, experience certificatesand certificate belonging to Reserved class (as applicable) along with one set of attested Xerox copies with 2passport size photographs.
