invites applications for the post of Allopathic Medical Officer (PROVINCIAL MEDICAL AND HEALTH DEPTT. U.P.)
Medical Officer :
No. of Posts: 2225
Pay Scale- Rs. 15600-39100/-, Grade pay 5400/-
Nature of Post- Gazetted, Temporary and period of probation- 2 years.
Essential Qualification- A candidate for direct recruitment must possess M.B.B.S. degree of a University recognised by the Medical Council of India. A candidate who possesses a post-graduate Degree/Diploma in Medical or Health Sciences, in a particular subject of a University recognised by the Medical Council of India or the U.P. Medical Council shall be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment. In addition to this, it is also necessary to be completed one year rotatory internship till the last date of receipt of application form.
Preferential Qualification- Other things being equal, such candidates shall be given preferences in the matter of direct recruitment- (1) Who has served in the territorial army for minimum period of two years, or (2) Who has obtained a "B" certificate of National Cadet Corps.
Important directions- Candidates must ensure to have all certificates of their claim about Age, Essential Qualification, Internship, No objection certificate (if they are in Govt. service) at the time of application. Simultaneously, the permanent U.P. Medical Council registration certificate is also required. The candidates who do not have the U.P. Medical Council registration certificate, will have to submit the same, if they are selected, within 45 days of the declaration of result. Otherwise their candidature will be rejected
Age Limit- 21 to 35 years (upper age limit of reserved category candidates shall be relaxable as per rules).
